Bloom-tastic Rugby: A Golden Triumph in Heart of England in Bloom

We’re absolutely thrilled to celebrate Rugby’s incredible success at the 2025 Heart of England in Bloom Awards, where the town was crowned Overall Winner and scooped Gold for the 16th consecutive year! This year’s theme, Plants and People, truly came to life across the borough, showcasing the power of community, creativity, and care for the environment.

As one of several local businesses, we have been proud to contribute to and sponsor Rugby in Bloom for the past three years. BoBen has loved seeing the vibrant transformation of green spaces around the town. From the stunning displays in Caldecott Park to the biodiversity efforts at Newbold Quarry, it has been inspiring to witness the dedication of schools, volunteers, and community groups working together to make Rugby flourish.

This year’s entry was a collaborative masterpiece, with contributions from passionate organisations like Butterfly Conservation Warwickshire, Rugby Wildlife Group, Ryton Garden Organic, and many more. The judges were taken on a tour of Rugby’s most cherished green spaces, including Jubilee Gardens, St Andrews Church, and Abbotts Farm School, where they saw first-hand the horticultural excellence and community spirit that define Rugby in Bloom.

We were especially moved by the installation of commemorative benches and the planting of 300 trees across the borough in celebration of Rugby Borough Council’s 50th anniversary – a lasting legacy for future generations.

BoBen is proud to play a part in this blooming success story. Supporting Rugby in Bloom is more than sponsorship – it’s about nurturing pride, sustainability, and joy in our local community. Congratulations to everyone involved, and best of luck as Rugby heads to the Britain in Bloom national finals in 2026!

Here’s to more floral displays and green spaces for the community to enjoy! 🌿🌼
