BoBen: A Proud Sponsor Of Rugby In Bloom 2025
BoBen are delighted to celebrate Rugby’s outstanding achievement at the 2025 Heart of England in Bloom Awards, where the town was crowned Overall Winner and awarded Gold for the 16th consecutive year. This remarkable success truly reflects the community’s commitment to creativity, sustainability, and the shared pride that defines life in Rugby.
This year’s theme – Plants and People – could not have been more fitting. Across the borough, vibrant displays and thoughtful planting schemes showcased the powerful connection between horticulture and the community. From pocket parks to school gardens, residents of all ages played a part in making Rugby shine.
Three Years of Proud Partnership
As a local business rooted in the heart of Rugby, BoBen Construction is proud to have supported and sponsored Rugby in Bloom for the past three years. Watching the town’s green spaces transform each summer has been a genuine joy – a reminder of what collective effort can achieve.
Some of this year’s highlights included:
- The striking floral displays in Caldecott Park, always a favourite for residents and visitors.
- Biodiversity enhancements at Newbold Quarry, where wildlife habitats continue to thrive.
- Community‑driven planting projects that brighten pathways, community centres, and public spaces.
For us, these initiatives represent more than beautiful landscaping – they embody the spirit of Rugby: inclusive, ambitious, and full of heart.
A Community Effort in Full Bloom
Rugby’s 2025 entry was a true collaboration, supported by passionate groups including Butterfly Conservation Warwickshire, Rugby Wildlife Group, Ryton Garden Organic, enthusiastic schools, and dedicated volunteers. The judges toured many of the town’s most beloved green spaces – from Jubilee Gardens to St Andrews Church and Abbotts Farm School – gaining a first‑hand look at the care, skill, and creativity behind the town’s floral success.
One particularly meaningful highlight was the installation of commemorative benches and the planting of 300 new trees across the borough in honour of Rugby Borough Council’s 50th anniversary – a thoughtful legacy project that will benefit residents for generations to come.
Celebrating Rugby Today – Growing for Tomorrow
At BoBen, we believe that fostering a flourishing environment goes hand‑in‑hand with building high‑quality homes and communities. Supporting Rugby in Bloom reflects our commitment to sustainability, placemaking, and local pride.
We extend our warmest congratulations to everyone involved – the organisers, volunteers, sponsors, and residents who worked tirelessly to bring this year’s entry to life. Rugby’s gold‑standard success is a testament to your dedication.
We’re excited to cheer Rugby on once again as the town heads to the Britain in Bloom national finals in 2026 – and we look forward to continuing our support for the community we’re proud to call home.
Here’s to more beautiful displays, greener spaces, and a blooming future for all.
