We take care of every new home and development that we build and we want to ensure that you can relax and enjoy life in your new home, even after you have moved in, we will still be here if you need us.

A series of independent quality inspections are carried out on each new home during key stages of construction. These are all aimed at giving you peace of mind so you can enjoy the full benefits of living in your new BoBen home. All new buildings go through a ‘settling’ period after construction and during this time we will provide you with assistance and advice on any issues that may arise.

Warranty Cover

For the first two years after completion your new home is covered by your BoBen Homes Warranty. This is managed by our Customer Care team who are also available to provide you with advice and direct assistance , covering emergency situations in the rare event that you are left without power, water, or heating.

In addition, the LABC 10 year warranty also runs from your completion day, providing cover for a wide range of structural defects that could, albeit rarely, occur during the first 10 years after your home is completed. This means structural faults that might happen during this period will be taken care of with the minimum of fuss. What’s more, you don’t need to do a thing to ensure your property is adequately covered. BoBen have already arranged and paid for this before you buy your home and will provide you with a Certificate of Insurance when you move in along with a more comprehensive guide of what is covered. We fully support and comply with the Consumer Code for Home Builders. This ensures home buyers are treated fairly; know what service to expect and are given reliable information. The code also ensures you know how to access speedy and low-cost resolution services if you are dissatisfied with any part of your customer journey with us.

Site Visits

Viewing Appointments – We appreciate you might want to come and take a look at our new homes, we would love for you to see the homes yourselves, however whilst construction is under way and during Covid-19, site visits are available by appointment only.

Site Safety – When visiting our development sites, your safety is of great importance to us. Building sites can be dangerous places so please follow the guidelines on our signage and ensure any children visiting with you are always supervised and kept away from working areas. We recommend you wear suitable footwear (flat, non-slip, closed toe) for developments in progress.

Covid-19 Measures – Upon making an appointment you will be contacted 24 hours before your scheduled viewing to re-confirm your attendance. If you or any of your party are showing any signs of coronavirus your viewing will be cancelled, please stay at home and self-isolate for the recommended amount of time. We will arrange for your appointment to be re-scheduled to another suitable date.

During your appointment, we recommend you bring your own protective mask and gloves, however we will have some available if you forget. Hand sanitiser and hand wash facilities will be available for use also. Please adhere to social distancing throughout your visit. We have put extra cleaning measures in place, so all handles and surfaces will have been sanitised after each visit to minimise the risk of contamination.

Parking – If the development site already has existing residents, please be mindful of where you park making sure not to park on private property or block-in any other cars. We will do our best to have designated visitor parking, or explain to you where to park before your visit.

Disabled Access – Disabled access will be limited during construction due to the rough, uneven terrain, stair access, low lighting etc however if you need access upon completion please inform us upon booking your viewing appointment and we will do our up-most to accommodate you.


COVID-19 Updates

Following the news of a third lockdown from Monday 4th January 2021, we are relieved to find that the housing market and construction industry are to remain open throughout this new lockdown period. However it is essential that we all continue to play our part in reducing the spread of the virus by following all relevant guidance on how to safely conduct viewings and site operations. Following the news of a second lockdown from Thursday 5th November, we’d like to reassure our customers that we will continue to work hard to deliver their homes safely and on time.

We have continued to review our coronavirus health & safety policies in accordance with the latest guidance and are reassured that the Government has chosen to keep the housing market and construction sector open. Our team are still fully able to support customers through the homebuying and moving process.

Safeguarding our customers, colleagues and suppliers and their families remains our top priority, so from Thursday our viewings will only be available for essential appointments for customers in the process of purchasing a home.

We shall keep you informed of any updates and look forward to welcoming new customers via other means, both online and over the phone. Throughout the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, BoBen continues to regularly monitor the situation and review business operations accordingly. The safety of our customers, staff and suppliers remains paramount and we will continue to follow the government guidelines and advice of the World Health Organisation.

Our site is open, with the construction team observing Construction Leadership Council (CLC) guidelines. The opening of the site allows us to progress the project, helping to minimise delays for our customers. In order to proceed with construction in a safe and responsible manner, we are working closely with our partners and suppliers to ensure that social distancing is strictly adhered to at all times.

Following government guidance, our sales offices and show homes are now open to view on an appointment-only basis. A number of measures have been implemented for the safety of our customers and staff, please read Site Visits above.
